Navigational Resource Centers provide outreach, rapid response and homeless navigation services to vulnerable individuals in need and those experiencing homelessness in Atlantic and Camden counties.
Volunteers of America Delaware offers service rich interim housing to clients 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Our low-barrier residential programs offer clients individualized assessments, service planning, and case management. Our goal is to provide residents with direct, immediate services and referrals to community-based services to set clients on path to permanent housing. From intake to discharge, case management works with residents to assess the contributing factors for their homelessness and provide the necessary services based upon their individual service plans, and develop strengths and protective factors to lead to long term stability.
In addition to assessment and case management services, residents are provided with a broad range of services and supports, including:
- 24/7 access to on-site support staff
- connection to mainstream benefits and entitlements
- assistance with healthcare enrollment and obtaining state identification
- referral to treatment programs for mental health, behavioral health, and substance use disorders
- employment counseling and support for educational resources
