One person’s generosity can make all the difference – even more so when a group of individuals looking to help come together. That is especially true for the incredible organizations that support VOADV in a variety of ways. Our clients greatly benefit from a kind, helping hand on their journey towards independence – and we are so grateful for the generous support we receive from local organizations looking to make a difference!
Keller William’s annual Red Day is focused around their commitment to community service and giving back to the people and locations that support them. We were grateful to have our men’s shelters Aletha R. Wright “Vision of Hope” Center and Home For The Brave involved in this year’s Red Day as local associates came to cook and serve a meal for our residents.
Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative led a collection of personal hygiene products to be assembled into kits as part of their Cooperative Cares project. The kits included much needed items such as deodorant, toothbrushes, washclothes and body wash that will make a significant impact in the lives of many of our clients. SNJPC assembled over 230 kits during their Take Your Child To Work Day activities – many of which are already making an impact in the community!
The women of the New Jersey Apartment Association collected thousands of items at their Leading Ladies Brunch to support those in need – diapers, toiletries, hygiene items, housewares and more. We’re always grateful for NJAA’s support of our Adopt A Family program and appreciate their generosity all year around!
