Support The Dads In Our Programs While Celebrating Yours
This Father's Day, Help Us Honor The Dads Laying Foundations For Independence
This Father’s Day, we are honoring the many dads enrolled in our forty programs. Our dads are doing the hard work to build better lives for themselves and their families. Across all of our programs, we see fathers addressing their substance use disorders, developing new and relevant job skills, managing mental and behavioral health diagnoses, and laying the foundations for independence. This work is ongoing throughout their lives, and we are helping to give our dads those tools so that they can continue long after they have graduated from our programs.
Kingdom Outreach Church Krusaders has hosted a Father’s Day Barbecue at the Aletha R. Wright Vision of Hope Center men’s shelter. These generous individuals hosted a hearty, warm meal cooked on-site to give our residents a relaxing day of fellowship and fun. Other community organizations have been gathering care kits for the fathers in our Home for the Brave veteran’s shelter. These care packages include essential hygiene items, Wawa gift cards, t-shirts, and other fun objects.
While celebrating Dad this week, you can join in helping to support our men by donating directly to our organization, shopping off of our Amazon Wish List, or dropping off items to our Collingswood collection center.
Our greatest needs across all of our programs are: soap, antiperspirant, new underwear, dental care, and gently used clothing.
