Family Violence Prevention Program

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley’s Family Violence Prevention Program (FVPP) is a comprehensive treatment program for male perpetrators of violence against intimate female partners. FVPP provides an integrated response that focuses on both treatment and accountability, and understands violence and abuse are learned behavioral patterns that can be modified.

Our program is 26 sessions long, and provides screening, assessment, group skills, and one-on-one counseling. Our goal is to assist participants in developing insight into the factors which led to their violence and abuse, and to eliminate violence and abuse within intimate and familial relationships.

Eligibility:

Individuals with a documented history of at least one incident of violence against a female partner may be referred or elect to complete the program voluntarily.
