A Heart That I Call Home
Tim McGlone composed a Heart That I Call Home for Volunteers of America Delaware Valley. He drew from inspiration from the over 13,000 people in need we serve annually. The song was premiered at our 16th Annual Red Carpet Gala on February 22, 2015 when Tim performed it live.
Singer/songwriter Tim McGlone's journey into the music industry began at an early age. Growing up, McGlone was surrounded by musical influences ranging from Soul to Folk. Tim grew to combine such genres to create his unique style of songwriting. With an arsenal of Motown, folk, and rock inspired songs; McGlone has taken his music across the country, performing in cities from Boston to LA.
He released his first studio album "Street Sounds", to the world on May 7, 2009. The first single, "Paradise Behind Me", was featured on Philadelphia's 88.5 WXPN and Radio 104.5. He has also performed at the XPONTENTIAL music festival in Camden, NJ, and had the rare opportunity to perform as the local opening act for the 2008 Coldplay Viva La Vida tour here in Philadelphia.
Tim is currently busy working on his 2nd full-length studio album with local musicians, which is expected to be released by the end of 2015.
