THANK YOU, SHOWCASE AT THE RITZ CENTER

National Amusements, Inc. and its Showcase at the Ritz Center movie theaters in Voorhees NJ are making a major donation to Volunteers of America Delaware Valley.

“The non-perishable food items brought in by patrons of the ‘Holiday Classic’ movies at the Showcase at the Ritz Center will help our clients. And that’s terrific,” said Development Director James Wynn.

“We are extremely grateful to National Amusements, Showcase at the Ritz Center and their customers for helping Volunteers of America Delaware Valley help others,” Wynn said. “Their generosity gives us a chance to brighten the holidays for men, women and children in need, and to spread the word about the important work we do to meet those needs.”

The needs are growing because of the recession. Requests for food assistance are rising at the Homelessness Prevention Program operated by Volunteers of America Delaware Valley, and the agency’s ongoing food drive will utilize items donated by patrons of Showcase at the Ritz Center.

National Amusements has offered the “Holiday Classics” film series and food campaign for 10 years. Patrons who bring in a non-perishable food item are admitted to the “Holiday Classic” movie or free.

“How the Grinch Stole Christmas” will be shown at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 13 and “White Christmas” will be shown at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 20 at the Showcase at the Ritz Center, Haddonfield-Berlin road, Voorhees.

Hope to see you at the movies!
