PARTNERS IN CHANGE IS SET FOR OCTOBER 8

Partners in Change, our annual event ‘celebrating outcomes, honoring partners and recognizing achievement’ will be held October 8 at the Scottish Rite ballroom, 315 White Horse Pike in Collingswood, NJ.

Partners in Change originated as a program of our Corrections division, but this year it has expanded to include our Housing and Supportive Services and Behavioral Health/Developmental Disabilities divisions as well.

Fifteen clients, 20 staff members, and 36 community partners – including churches, government agencies, corporations, and individuals – who have been nominated by managers in our programs, will be honored. Nearly 100 Volunteers of America Delaware Valley employees with five or more years of service will be recognized as well.

A special award will recognize the many contributions of NJ Assemblywoman Nilsa Cruz-Perez, a longtime member of our board of directors.

James Wynn, our director of development, will act as Master of Ceremonies.

Music will be provided by Robert Washington, David Fawcett and Roderick Hammond.
