Mildred Samuels

Mildred Samuels is Co-Vice President of Human Resources for Volunteers of America Delaware Valley. 

 

 

Mildred served in various managerial positions within the agency’s Housing & Supportive Services division from 1986 through 1990.  In July 1990, she transferred to the administrative office, where she served until 1998 as Management Assistant to COO and later VP of Program Operations.

 

 

In 1998, Mildred was given the position of Human Resources Manager. Since then she has been an integral part of the development of the Human Resources department culminating in her current role as Co-Vice President.

 

 

Mildred is a Volunteers of America Commissioned Minister and a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the Volunteers of America National Human Resources Network. She also serves on various Ad Hoc and Advisory Committees at Volunteers of America Delaware Valley.

 

 

Mildred earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Relations from Lehigh University in 1977.
