Home For The Brave
Home For The Brave is a 30-bed housing program for homeless veterans. Our veterans come to us with a myriad of concerns and life circumstances that have resulted in homelessness including, but not limited to, behavioral health issues, incarceration, and poor employment history. Through our community, veterans are provided with individual support as they work to address these concerns and plan for a furture that allows for self-sufficiency and independence.
The programs currently operating at Home for the Brave are:
Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP), funded through the United States Department of Labor, provides employment services to homeless veterans such as resume, job search, interviewing skills and purchasing of items necessary for employment such as work clothes, tools and licenses.
Grant and Per Diem, funded through the United States Veterans Administration, provides transitional housing services. Veterans enrolled in the Grant and Per Diem Program may be co-enrolloed in HVRP and receive additional services to find permanent housing, life skills, eductaion and access to other veterans benefit programs.
