GEORGE MUNYAN AND NJ LIONS CLUBS HELP PREVENT HOMELESSNESS
Tanicia Triplett and her entire staff at the Homelessness Prevention Program in Thorofare NJ are saying ‘thank you’ to George Munyan and fellow members of the Lions Club of New Jersey.The club helped make possible the distribution of Thanksgiving baskets to more than 100 families, and Munyan individually donated a double-door freezer to the program’s food pantry. The gift of the freezer was made in memory of Munyan’s friend, Mary Ann Ward.
Triplett also praised the members of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church – where Homelessness Prevention is located - along with Council 71, Local 2215 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME). The union is a major supporter of the food program.
