Andre Collins Joins Volunteers of America Delaware Valley to Promote Teamwork and Unity
Andre Collins started his career as a linebacker from Penn State University, becoming a member of the 1986 National Championship team. He was selected as a First Team All-American in 1989, and in 1990 Collins was selected as the Washington Redskins first-round draft pick. During the 1991 season, Collins and the Redskins defeated the Buffalo Bills at Superbowl XXVI. Andre Collins now serves as the Retired Players Director for the National Football League’s Players Association, and he is the author of the first book in a new series by MVP Kids books. The children enjoyed the lunch that followed, the book reading by Andre Collins, and balloons and footballs that were given to them for attending. |
