Gina Adams - COO
Gina Adams is a Chief Operating Officer of Volunteers of America Delaware Valley. She joined the organization as a Program Director in 1998, using her skills as a manager and a mentor to rise rapidly through the ranks. As a Chief Operating Officer, Gina is responsible for homeless shelters, homelessness prevention services, senior housing, and other programs. Gina is a graduate of Boston University and earned her Master's degree from Thomas Edison State College. In 1999, she became a commissioned minister with Volunteers of America, and in 2007 she was elected by her peers to serve on Volunteers of America's National Ecclesiastical Committee. She also serves on the Board of Stewards at her church, Faith Covenant Fellowship, in Burlington, New Jersey. Gina is active across New Jersey in various organizations and programs that focus attention on homelessness, hunger and poverty. She was appointed in 2004 to the Governor's New Jersey Hunger Prevention Advisory Committee, and serves as chairperson. In 2009, Gina was appointed to the newly formed NJ Interagency Council to Prevent and Reduce Homelessness.
Gina is passionate about helping others reach their potential; servant leadership is a model she strives to exemplify. She lives in her native South Jersey with her husband and four children.
